Syed Rehan Bin Waris Gillani started his entrepreneurship journey with his brother Syed Salman Bin Waris Gillani in real estate brokerage business in Pakistan. After doing this business for many years in Pakistan, they moved to UAE where they started a company named as Grand Holdings, a real estate brokerage and development company. Grand Holdings was sold at peak of its performing years. Mr. Rehan along with his brother Mr. Salman moved back to Pakistan with all the profits and sale proceeds they made from the sale of the company.
In Pakistan Mr. Rehan put his expertise in the development of Tricon Corporate Centre which is located on jail road in Lahore. This project has been completed and is a testament to the outstanding quality of his work. Mr. Rehan’s biggest and most famous project along with his brother is definitely Grand City Kharian.

Mr. Rehan told host of program that he has operated businesses in Dubai, England and USA but he feels Pakistan is one of the most blessed nations in the world in every way and there are ample business opportunities in Pakistan. He further said that development in Grand City is taking place at a rapid pace, people are building houses at a rapid speed in the fully developed Phase 1 and development work in Phase 2 is also going on at an accelerated pace. On question of host about what should people choose more often jobs or entrepreneurships, Mr. Rehan emphasized that it’s up to people whatever they want to do however he said in order for our country to have more employment opportunities it will be great if more people choose to be entrepreneurs. Mr. Rehan never shies away from experimenting with new innovative real estate development techniques and is always on the go to apply the best international standards of development techniques in his projects.
